How to compute for electrical consumption

hey guys,
i remember reading in one website before that you compute for electrical consumption by using this formula:

1. no. of watts / 1000 to get kilowatt per hour consumption
2. multiply by no. of hours used in a day
3. multiply by number of days used in a month
4. multiply by cost per KWh (meralco rate)

Tama ba yung formula? any thoughts on this?

At last na, tama ba yung rate na nakasulat sa bill ng meralco mga P 6.00++ per KWh? kasi nung dinivide ko yung meralco bill namin sa total KWh used, lumabas mga 9.65 per KWh. so is it correct to assume that their effective rate is actually 9.65 / KWh?

read at the back of the bill andun ang breakdown..may added charges pa kasi eg transmission charge, system loss(nakaw na kuryente..pasan ng consumer ito hati-hati ) etc.

yes. kasi yung 6+ per KW ay hindi pa kasama yung mga additional charges imo
