Meron din Spin-A-Win hosted by Jeanne Young

Pag may nakita ako nun sa junk shop, bibilhin ko iyon. Antique na kasi iyon. bwahahaha!!!

Kimpura and Kimpura AGrden were the best Japanese restaurants around. I can still remember the taste of their japanese fried rice....hehe

Other shows noon are Six Million Dollar Man, SWAT, and Man from Atlantis

Philip Cezar, Abet Guidaben, Bernie Fabiosa, Dioy Dionisio, Tito Varela......halata bang Crispa ako? bwahahahaha!!!

Reason I didn't like Toyota was because they had Jaworski. Sobrang dumi maglaro.

70's - basketball - shin dong-pa (70's nga ba yun?)

I was in elementary back then - laging kasama ng tatay ko 'pag nagha-hunting. we spent a lot of our summer vacation sa gubat.

Laging kagulo 'pag may umutot.

I can never forget kung gaano kabaho ang boxing gloves

Choco Vim was also in a quattro kantos bottle then. During those days, wala pang rounded bottles.

Medyo before the 70's ata ang mga itong personalities na ito, pero I remember watching these guys on black and white TV in the 70's: panchito, pugo, pugak, tange, dolphy, babalu, vilma santos, lotis key, nora aunor. Ito din ang panahon ni Roberto Gonzales, Ramon Zamora (Philippines' Bruce Lee), and Tony Ferrer alias Tony Falcon Agent X44. wahahahahaha!!!!!

Vilma was a teeny bopper back then.

Iyong Remington Steele 80's na lumabas.

Another show I remember during those times is Rockford Files.

But who can fprget the ladies of Charlie's Angels. Farrah Fawcett, Cheryl Ladd, Jacklyn Smith, Kate Hudson (di siya kasing ganda). Farrah Fawcett was a goddess then. She didn't last long in Charlie's Angels and was replaced by Cheryl Ladd.

Hehe....I think Star Rangers were 80's na. Kasi 80's lang medyo dumami ang colored TVs. 70's karamihan were still B/W TVs. Tarza, which also started before the 70's was still showing. The star of tarzan during the 60's was Johnny Wisemiller. I forgot the name already of the guy who starred in Tarzan during the 70's. But Tarzan was a real favorite.

the pace was a lot slower kasi. The world wasn't so global. So as long as you worked or had a business, you'd be fine. Nowadays, its "kayod tuko" just to make ends meet. Sarap talaga 70's to early 80's.

haha!!! Yes, Discorama was also in the 70's. Sobrang uso nun ang mga "dancing" na shows and movies. Kaya nga sumikat ang Grease. Bata pa sila Travolta and Olivia Newton John during those days.

Anyone remember Canon? How about Hawaii Five-0? Kojak? Kojak starred Telly Savalas.

Olivia Newton John and Carrie Fisher were my fantasy girls of the 70's!!! hehehe...

others shows i recall:
TV: Three's Company, Baa Baa Black Sheep, The Waltons...
Movies: Buck Rogers, Logan's Run, Smokey and the Bandit, A Bridge Too Far, The Eagle has Landed, The Wild Geese, Roger Moore's James Bond

Remamber 6 million dollar man versus 7 million dollar man. Inabangan ko yan bro. Remember coca cola have a promo na free basketball sando. Then the yoyo from coca cola again. Everybody is playing yoyo in school.

Don't forget Tugak, Leroy Salvador, Tony Santos Present Show and Lito Calsado the dancer. It's really nice to remember the 70's and mid 80's.... Laki pa value ng peso noon.... Paglabas mo ng school nuon you would see ang mga vendor ng fish and gagamba...... The sweet smell of air in the morning.... I just can't explain it pero there is something different about the smell before in the morning while getting ready to go sa school. ANd for sure it smells good....

I used to ride a jeep. The fare that time was 10 cents. Tumatanggap pa ng 1 cent (use to be called MAMERA) ang jeep noon 70's. Minsan i told my kids ng kabataan ko iba ang laro. We use to play TAGUAN, TOUCHING THE ROBBER, PATINTERO, PIKO, TUMBANG PRESO. Kasi i was tying to explain to them na ang laro nuon ay iba na sa ngayon. Gumagalaw ang buong katawan nuon kapag naglaro tayo. Now it's different. Pero it sad to say even my kids wants to play TAGUAN, TOUCHING THE ROBBER, PATINTERO, PIKO, TUMBANG PRESO. :)

Agn sarap ng larong jolen. May special lamesa pa just to play jolen.

Hehe! I enjoyed that so much that I made one for my kids para maexperience din nila...minus the splinters.

I get to do these kinds of projects only when I find some junk to make things like these. Pero its also something I'd like to make for my kids. Especially now that I have 20 month old boy. hehe

Don't forget the flair pant. Yun bang tinatawag na bangka ang baba. Salsa was the hit dance that time.... El Bimbo...he he he ..... Regarding the 8 track.

I remember metallic gigolo dance contest sa eat bulaga. After the metallic gigolo dance craze. Sumunod na ang strut dance? Tama ba spelling ko? Pero Tama si Sir Mattrbautista. This dance craze was in the 80's. I remember during the 70's ang uso ay ceramic dance ba? Yung mga WEA dancer at VICOR dancer ang sikat na mga dance group during the 70's and mid 80's. Andyan pa nga ang WEA TWINS. Yun dalawang cute na batang babae. How about the singing group na Toto ang his children. Yun mala Jackson 5.....:)

After I came across one of the replies here carrying the name "Scribbler" ball-point pen--I remembered that I have one (1) existing Scribbler (with black ink) pen that I just keep. Back in the 1980s I used to buy these pens that come in black, blue and red ink. I particularly like this brand because its barrel is unbreakable and I always carry it in my pants' back pocket.
