IMHO, wala naman problema kung maraming bubbles, mas maigi pa nga yan kasi mas mataas ang surface area na aerated for oxygenation purposes. kung ayaw mo makita yung bubbles, submerge mo yung isang rainbar mo. may nabasa din ako dati about water currents on the tank for aro, actually they say na mas mainam daw ito for your aro para may "exercise" sila ng konti, adding to the appetite of your fish. as long as hindi naman parang tsunami or washing machine sa loob ng tank, i think ok lang yung current mo. personally, may resun powerhead rated at 2k L/Hour ako sa loob ng tank specifically to make currents.

hinde ba problema sa water yun? kasi pag on ng lights doon mo makikita yun maliliiit na bubbles, parang madumi tuloy yun tubig...pero I"m sure galing sa bagsak ng tubig mula sa rainbar...ok lang ba yun?

ok lang yun bro, sakin di ko na ginamit yun rainbar & naka submerge na sa tubig, also using powerhead for the current.

rainbar is perfectly ok in a sense that it creater surface water movement. this is healthy for any fish. the only thing that some people complain is that there so much bubbles that the tank doesnt look that clear.

its all up to the persons preferences if they wish to have the rainbar effect. i removed all of mine and used a diffuser instead. same effect din as well. ;)

on this link you will see the diffuser, and on the main pic up you will see the rainbar effect.

@akuma, Try to check your canister baka may excess air pa sa compartment or sa mga hose. ... Ako inalog ko yung canister mismo to make sure walang excess air sa loob or position your rain bar just right below the surface..Might help. :)

did i mention to you to replace your rainbar??? i am just merely stating what i am using. i prefer the water pressure of the diffuser to create strong water movement in certain area of the tank .

no! you did not? so? I'm just asking if I want to, what is the advantage of replacing it? if it serve the same purpose then, why repalce it in the first place??? whats wrong with my question?

to reiterate what i posted, its all up to the persons preference and same effect as well. air diffusers have air adjustment, like the ones used by powerheads.

or else just remove the rainbar. that will solve all of this.

the advantage i see is with the diffuser, you can direct the outflow (and current) at a much concentrated area of your tank.
